Exploring the churches and squares of Mendoza, Enjoying the local wineries- with tastings!
DAY 1 MENDOZA You will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel.
DAY 2 MENDOZA This afternoon we have a beautiful and pleasant tour through the city of Mendoza today. In the old city we will visit the Pedro del Castillo square, and the ruins of the church of San Francisco. Once we get to the new city we will see the squares, streets, and avenues. One of the most beautiful things we will see is the Civic Centre which is set in a very old park. We will also go to the main park of the city, called San Martin.
We will enter it through "The Gates". Inside the park we will visit the "Five Continents Fountain", the lake, clubs and promenades, and on the hill we will find an amazing monument built in memory of San Martin's army. We will return to the city after visiting the Greek Theatre "Frank Romero Day" and the Lourdes Church, which are in the mountain ranges.
DAY 3 MENDOZA Leaving Mendoza city and heading south, we will reach the premier fine wine producing area of the country. We will visit two different wineries. Inside, we will walk among the stainless steel tans and oak barrels, learn about the wine making process, and of course taste the wines. We will also visit the Cipoleti Dam and the Church of Carrodilla's virgin, with an 18th Century statue of the virgin Mary which looks over the vineyards.
DAY 4 DEPART MENDOZA Check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport.
