Starting with a visit to the Village of Tôr where we shall see a craftsman basket-making, followed by a short walk to the protected site of the Fountain of Benémola, listed as an area of outstanding natural beauty. Next we visit the typical village of Querença with a chance to taste the sweet and regional liquors. A visit to Serra do Caldeirão (The Mountain) then follows for a meal in a traditional restaurant. After lunch we visit the famous distillery with a free tasting of Aguardente, which translates as “fire water” and a demonstration of its production method.
