Day 1: Lisbon – Lisbon Coast
Arrival to Lisbon airport. Welcoming and transfer to the hotel. Welcome drink, dinner and accommodation.
Day 2: Lisbon Coast – Lisbon – Lisbon Coast
Visit of Lisbon, one of the most ancient capitals of Europe: the Baixa quarter, the picturesque of Alfama and the Belém quarter with its monuments related to the Sea Discoveries: Belém Tower (exterior), the Monument to the
Maritime Discoveries (exterior), the church of Jerónimos Monastery and the Coaches Museum. Lunch in a local
restaurant during visits. Return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
Day 3: Lisbon Coast – Cascais – Cabo da Roca – Sintra – Estoril – Fátima
Departure in direction of Cascais and Estoril, well known resorts, and afterwards, Cabo da Roca, western most point of continental Europe. Arrival then to Sintra, summer residence of kings and nobles.Lunch in a local restaurant and visit of the Royal Palace, famous for its gigantic conic chimneys. Road to Fátima, world pilgrimage center where we will visit the shrine dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel in Fátima
Day 4: Fátima – Óbidos – Nazaré - Batalha – Fátima
Departure to Óbidos, Middle Age village of houses coloured by flowers.Then, Nazaré, typical fishing village, where we will have a typical fish lunch.Afterwards,
visit of the Batalha Monastery, a masterpiece of Portuguese gothic, classified by UNESCO as World Heritage.Next, road to Fatima.Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 5: Fátima – Coimbra – Aveiro - Green Coast
After breakfast we will take the road to Coimbra, an old university town, where
we will visit its magnificent library.Lunch in a local restaurant. Then, visit of Bussaco, a National Park, and afterwards road to Aveiro famous by its numerous water channels and colored boats. Transfer to the hotel in the green coast by the end of the day. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6: Green Coast – Porto – Minho – Green Coast
We will start the day with Porto, discovering the sinuous streets of the old town, the Cathedral and the Stock Exchange Palace, as well as having the opportunity to taste the famous Port in one of the many existing wine cellars. Departure to Guimarães, the birthplace of Portugal, where we will visit the Palace of the Dukes of Bragança as well as its castle. Lunch during the course of the visits. Discovery also of Braga, the town of the Archbishops, with the imposing stairwell of the Bom Jesus
sanctuary. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel in the Green Coast.
Day 7: Day at leisure
Day to enjoy at leisure. Dinner and night at the hotel with folklore show included.
Suggested optional tour: Douro valley cruise to discover the breathtaking UNESCO classified wine region with lunch included, departing from Porto and ending in Regua
Day 8: Green Coast – Porto airport
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport of Porto. Assistance with the boarding formalities and departure. End of our services.
