Leaving Porto, the boat passes under some of the famous high level bridges. The urbanisation of Porto is quickly left behind and the steep banks have villages and riverside homes. Douro river Cruise - Porto Regua As the journey across Portugal takes place, the boat is raised by a series of locks,some being the highest in Europe. A 2-days program where you can enjoy all that the Douro has to give.

  • 13h20 –Carrapatelo Dam (Flood – gate, unlevelling of 35 meters)
  • 16h30 –Arrival at Régua
  • Transfer to a Traditional Farm – Visit and tasting
  • Transfer to the Hotel

  • 07h00 – Brakfast at the Hotel
  • 07h30 –Transfer to Régua Quay
  • 08h00 –Shipping and Departure to Barca D’Alva
  • 08h25 –Bagaúste Dam (Flood – gate, unlevelling of 27 meters)
  • 11h30 –Valeira Dam (Flood – gate, unlevelling of 32 meters)
  • Port wine on board
  • 12h00 – Lunch on board
  • 14h00 – Pocinho Dam (Flood – gate, unlevelling of  20 meters)
  • 16h00 – Arrival at Barca D’Alva
  • Snack on board
  • 18h00 – Transfer to Pocinho Railway Station
  • 19h07 – Departure by train to Porto (Campanhã Railway Station)
  • 23h20 – Arrival at S. Bento (Porto)
