Full Description

The wine production in the Algarve goes back to the arrival of the Phoenicians in Portugal. Although not as abundant as in the Douro or Alentejo, the quality of its wine is not behind the rest.

On this tour, you will get to know the history of the Algarve wine and visit two family wine-producing farms. Directly from the experts, you will get to know the various grape varieties used, the geographical conditions that contribute to a wine of excellence and the vineyards of the properties.

Notice the differences between one Quinta and another, their details and the contrasts between modern and traditional. They are estates with passionate family stories and welcoming genuine owners.

At each Quinta, there will be a tasting (included) of their own wines, so that you can prove the unmistakable and unique taste of Algarvian wine.

At lunch (included) we invite you to taste the Algarve's gastronomy in the region of Silves, you will no doubt be delighted.

Visits, activities or transportation will be carried out in smaller groups. Compliance with safety standards established by each type of transport, service and / or activity

The mandatory safety distance between customers will be maintained

The use of a mask is mandatory. The guest must wear their own mask

If the guest does not wear a mask, the supplier will have masks available to the guest

The appropriate disinfectant will be provided before, during and after service

All personnel involved (guide, driver, etc) will wear a mask during service

Delivery of printed material, such as maps or brochures, will be avoided

All means of transport or other in use will be disinfected before and washed thoroughly after each service

• The tour requires a minimum of two participants to operate and you can join other travellers.

• Do not forget to wear comfortable clothes and bring your voucher and your camera!

• You must submit your voucher in paper format.
